Is selling FL res to the highest bidder frowned upon?

So someone who apparently has lunch reservations at FL responded to my post, and well, it seems they are trying to sell their reservation to the highest bidder. I obviously want the reservation, but negotiating with this person is making me suspicious and leaving a "bad taste in my mouth." Just wondering what others have done or would do? I'm new to this forum, so unsure if this process is business as usual, or definitely discouraged/frowned upon.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Kay,

I would say selling them outright could be frowned upon by the FL for taking advantage of the reservation system, but at this poit its out of there hands When did you need reservations, I only ask because I have reservations October 3rd for 4, but only need 2 of the seats. In this case you would be doing me a favor, and I would just ask for a deposit, to hold your seas, and as you would show up, I would give it back to you. Please let me know if your interested.
